Few minutes spent on them for grooming will help frenchie to be healthy as well as happy.
Cute little frenchie’s short coats needs a weekly brushing to remove the loose, dead hairs and skin. This task will also help to stimulate the natural oil in their skin and keep off from the odor. Grooming their coat properly will help in preventing the skin from becoming dry and itchy and it will also be helpful to stop them from scratching their back. Buy brush and combs which are specifically designed for them.
Frenchies are also known for their comical looks. There ‘bat’ like ears should be cleaned to avoid from any infection and foul odor. The color of ears should be in healthy pink color. With the help of damp cotton bud you can clean their inner ears. Have a daily check of their ears by looking inside of it. While cleaning their ears never push the cotton bud deep inside their ear canal (i.e.) clean as far as you can see. If you notice any allergy or symptoms contact veteran immediately to avoid any serious future problem.
French bulldog puppies have deep jaws. Having cleaned their teeth’s on daily basis will avoid from tooth decay, any gum infection, and also stop from bad breath. Dental care is equally important as it is for us. It is also recommended that you take your frenchie to a veteran for check up twice a year.
Grooming Frenchies strong muscular feet’s is as important as other parts of body. Check their pads of the feet on a daily basis to ensure that there are no cracking and there is no dust or any element stuck on their pads or in between the toe’s. Also see to that you trim their nails on a regular basis or as when it is required.
Special care should be taken for the deep eyes of your French bulldog puppy. Clean their eyes on a regular basis and be sure that it is not weeping. Clean and clear the corners of the eyes carefully with the help of damp cotton bud. If there are signs of regular weeping or cloudiness then seeking veteran advice would be helpful.
Your French bulldog puppy would love to take bath. Give them a bath once in a month with a help of mild soap or shampoos which is specially made for frenchie. A through clean of your cute little pet is another way to get rid of odors. And also take care of their eyes while giving them bath.
